Although it might be stretching it a bit to claim malt balls are a healthy snack, they do provide some fiber, protein, calcium, and iron. Malt balls coated in dark chocolate have the highest daily value of fiber and iron. Malted Milk Cookies made with crushed malted milk balls are a fantastic snack. Brownies made with malt balls can be served as a dessert or snack. You can easily find recipes for no-bake chocolate bars that have malted milk bars as an ingredient. Chocolate malt balls are an ideal topping on cakes, cupcakes, pies, and ice cream.
