These dried plums are just the right amount of sweet and moist, I find that they go very good with morning cereals or as a midday snack. I have not bitten into any pits so these are exactly as advertised, good thing too because I was eating two of these read more... at a time. Sometimes I mix these with the candied pineapples which will give it that kick of sweetness if I am eating a plain whole grain cereal. The only downside to this delicious and healthy snack is that I am getting sticky fingers and keyboards eating them straight from the bag!

Just what the doctor ordered: plump, packed with flavor, "tastefully" sweet but not excessively, and versatile. Sometimes I chop them up and put them in oatmeal; other times, I eat them straight from the colorful Nutstop bag. (That reminds me -- I'm always impressed by how well dried fruits store read more... in the ziploc bags in which Nutstop packs its items. Provided you seal them well, the dried fruits maintain their flavor and moisture for a long time, in contrast to the cardboard containers that you often find at the grocery store.) Well...they are just about perfect. Sure there's a piece of pit every now and then, but there's a piece of pit pretty much every day one way or another. Unavoidable. Why do I keep ordering big bags of prunes anyway?? Because they are a true real way to actually read more... build bone for my 'diagnosed' in 2010 or so osteopenia. Really. I'm not kidding. I think it's 'boron' that's in prunes...actually builds bone...doesn't just 'freeze' it into looking like, 'huh...it's solid again' which is what things like Actonel do to people. So...eat prunes...every single day...they're good for you...in lots of little ways.

These are excellent in taste and texture. I keep them on my "snack bar" with other healthy snacks and try to eat 3 or 4 a day. And compared to a bag half the size for the same price at my small town grocery, it's also a smart choice read more... money wise.

I will never buy store bought prunes again. These are DELICIOUS! They're plump and just the right amount of sweet. My grandmother always "stewed" these for just a few minutes & served them to us warm as kids. That's still how I like to enjoy them. read more... Great prunes or dried plums, sometimes they are really squishy and soft and we prefer the harder dryer ones just because they last longer and don't stick in teeth but these are fresh either way and our parents like the moist ones and they work well with nuts and prunes read more... help absorb calcium so taking it with vitamins is a great idea!

Good packaging fresh taste but these are really sticky. My sister ordered prunes from nutstop and they were nice and firm but these are so squishy and sticky and just stick all over our teeth and stick on everything. They mush in the bag and our hands are covered in read more... syrup when you pick them up. Wish they were like the ones she ordered some months ago! Still, they are good for you but we worry they might spoil fast as they are not fully dried and when we've bought mushy prunes before they sour and spoil really quickly... So might try and freeze them but it's just a bit disappointing. Maybe we could dry them in a dehydrator but it would make such a mess all over!

Good sweet prunes! So thankful they aren't super sticky i can't stand when prunes are soft and squishy and then they spoil after that. But these are dried and chewy which is just wonderful! Better than any other prunes i've had before. Nutstop is amazing!!!

I personally wish they were dried further so they were more chewy than soft and not so mushy and sticky, but they seem fresh. They are a good texture, though moister and stickier than i like but most people i think like them better that way. They have read more... a milder sweeter taste than the ones i usually find at the grocery store. My mom likes them. Prunes are good for mineral and calcium absorption so taking them with vitamins helps your body utilize them so they are a healthy choice.
