I have been buying the 9lb option for a couple years now, and they are, for the most part, excellent. There are not too many "empty shells," and the roast tastes just right -- not over-roasted, but not raw-tasting, either. I did have one bad batch, in which a read more... lot of the nuts were burnt, but Nutstop offered to accept my return and send me new ones. Since then, though, I haven't any issue with burnt or rancid nuts in subsequent shipments!

A great product! Crunchy and without any salt!! I can eat the whole day as snack or part of the meal. Goes easily with salad and especially with those salty food like salami or cheese. Totally healthy without any guilt. Only one little complain, some of the shells are read more... totally closed so are not able to open. Really a waste. Not sure if this can be improved? Other than this, love it and will continue to buy it!!

I've now purchased four 9 lb. bags of these pistachios. They taste delicious and fresh, and I love that they are dry-roasted. While they do come in a big plastic bag, they remain fresh when kept in a cool, dark place and are left in a well-sealed bag. I decant read more... them into a large mason jar and then reseal the bag; this works well for me, and I am happy knowing that I got a great price on a fantastic product. Thank you yet again, Nutstop. You've earned a loyal customer in me -- for pistachios and much more!

All I can say is: there's a reason I buy these in 9 lb portions -- and I live alone, mind you. I love pistachios, but these are far superior to anything you can find in the grocery store or on Amazon. They are fresh and well-roasted: none is burnt read more... (an issue with other roasters/companies, I've found), and probably close to 99% are opened but not empty.

These just arrived this evening, and no sooner than 5 minutes after finishing a dish of them am I here to write a review. WOW. I had been buying pistachios from a range of other brands but none of them comes close to these. They are fresh, toasted nicely (but read more... not burnt -- a problem with other pistachio brands), and I encountered not ONE in this first dish (fingers crossed for the rest!) that I couldn't open easily. Thank you, Nutstop, yet again! Glad I bought a 9lb. bag, no less. :D

My husband has to watch his sodium and calorie intake. He loves to snack. So I buy these unsalted pistachios in the shell (takes longer to eat) in bulk quantity. I divide the pistachios into individual servings and vacuum seal the rest to keep fresh until he runs out. Best read more... price for the taste!

These are possibly the best quality pistachios I have ever tasted. We were worried they wouldn't taste as good without any salt, but they were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend these.
