I had placed an order for several different kinds of nuts and these are the only ones we have not had a lot of yet. The ones we have ate, were delicious and nice and fresh like the other kinds. I really want to try making a hazelnut read more... butter and maybe even mixing it with some melted, high quality chocolate to make like my own "Nutella". I just haven't had time yet. I also have a cookie recipe using hazelnuts I want to make. This is a great company to order from. We will definitely be ordering again.

I love these Hazelnuts! Hazelnut butter and homemade Nutella have been great for us! And every last bit is of great use. Absolutely delicious! I can barely make it fast enough. After roasting them, I've been very pleased with how easily the thin hull falls off. Just drop the newly roasted nuts read more... in a jar, shake it up and the thin lining falls right off. Then I use the pile of the thin hull lining as fertilizer.

Having purchased a rather large case of them, I was initially rather disappointed by the flavor of these nuts. I roasted and salted them before trying for the first time, and I was struck by their bitterness--not what I would call "subtle." However, after realizing that it was mostly due read more... to the skins, I took to rubbing the skins off after roasting. Yes, it's an extra step (though a rather satisfying one), but the price difference over the blanched hazelnuts is still worth it to me. Once roasted and skinned, except for the occasional bad nut, they have a nice, rich flavor that pairs particularly well with chocolate. They are a bit pricey, but a good deal here compared to other suppliers.

I usually only think about buying Hazelnuts around Christmas time when they are available in the grocery stores. I’ve been buying from Nutstop for quite a while, and on my most recent order I added 2 bags of raw Hazelnuts. My husband and I have found them to be very read more... fresh and tasty, and it’s nice to be able to grab a few out of the bag and not have to keep a nut cracker handy. I will definitely order more of these in the future and also plan to try some of the roasted and salted Hazelnuts as well.

The filberts were a major disappointment because too many were soft and rancid. The ones that were fresh were crunchy and delicious, though. I imagine it's difficult to tell when a shipment from a supplier isn't up to your usual standards.

Hazelnuts have been an ongoing re-order item ever since my very first purchase. Hazelnuts are great to put on a tray and roast in the oven. The outer skin comes off so easily and they can be chopped for cookies or eaten right away as a snack. read more... This time I purchased 3 bags. The price is fantastic and the health benefits of eating hazelnuts works for me. The bagged nuts from Nutstop.com are packaged so the nuts stay fresh and they advise you on how to store them and when is a realistic expiration date. These hazel nuts are delicious and a favorite for my sister. Locally they are very expensive and I found them at Nutstop.com for a very reasonable price. This is the 2 time I have ordered 2 bags. My favorite Christmas morning nuts to find in my stocking has always been hazelnuts. This is not a type of nut easily found in any big box store, in any variety. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to choose the from the varieties Nut Stop makes available. read more... I especially love the flavor of those which come directly from the shell with no additional salt or flavoring. And the convenience of not needing to crack open the shells to obtain the nut was also delightful. These hazelnuts were positively tasty and easy access through ordering online. When I was growing up my mon always had a bowl of mixed nuts an raisings, sometimes some figs and if we wanted a snack that was the healthy way to satisfy the sweet tooth. I am glad she did it that way - it was part of growing up read more... on a healthy diet. Filberts/Hazelnuts were the key! They were the most tasty nuts in the mix and the ones I used tp pick out. So they have been part of my snacks ever since. I had tried different brands and was just never really satisfied with the taste. Until.... my friend had some NUTSTOP. com Hazelnuts and I was finally happy because the flavor is how I know they are supposed to taste. So, I ordered them myself and am happy with the consistency of the flavor and quality. And they were on sale!! Thank you for such a great quality and that goes across the boards. I've used them in granola, just as a snack, with some other dried fruits or in combination with a fresh apple. Also very nice to make a nut butter out of and even to grind for baking! Wonderful!!

I LOVE HAZELNUTS !!! AND I WAS NEVER EVER ABLE TO GET ENOUGH! Growing up, each Thanksgiving, my Mom would buy a big bunch of those mixed nut in the shell, with almonds (yum!) and Brazil nuts (ick! bitter!) and peanuts (meh) and and walnuts (okay. The shells made read more... great sailboats in the bathtub, when you added a vertical toothpick and a triangular bit of paper - I only ate them to get the sailboats!), and, my favourite, *delicious* hazelnuts in the shell... and the family nutcracker tools would be left on the top of the bowl and you could eat as many nuts as you wanted, whenever you wanted. Except they were always only a very few hazelnuts in the mix. In a big wooden bowl, maybe a foot across, 5 inches deep, and mounded high, it seemed like there were only ever about 7 total hazelnuts. I guess hazelnuts were - and are - expensive compared to everything else. I've never seen hazelnuts for sale in a store or I certainly would have bought them! I love hazelnut coffee, and hazelnut flavoured chocolate, and hazelnut flavoured anything. This summer I started wondering if there was a way to buy *just* hazelnuts!!! I hit the internet hard and researched all the companies I could find selling hazelnuts. I don't have any nutcrackers, and I didn't want to pay a price per pound that included the shell which of course I would just be throwing away, so I focused on shelled hazelnuts. Nutstop had excellent reviews AND the best price per pound by several dollars!!! I eagerly bought SIX one-pound bags, and hoped the nuts would not be small or bitter or withered... I GOT THE MOST DELICIOUS HAZELNUTS EVER!!! AND I WAS SO THRILLED TO GET SO MANY!!! At first I tried just one hazelnut, and it was HEAVENLY! And then I tried another just-one... HEAVENLY! And then another just-one and another, and then finally, I coukdn't resist - a PALM FULL, and it was a *MOUTHFUL* of heaven, and with SIX POUNDS, I was FINALLY able to eat AS MANY HAZELNUTS AS I WANTED, and WHENEVER I WANTED, and I cannot tell you how absolutely wonderful and delightful this has been! And there was never a withered, or small, or dried out, or bitter hazelnut yet in all of the pounds I've eaten!!! I just noticed they have an even *better* price for buying *10* pounds at a time... Or more! I am probably going to go for that next!

The raw hazelnuts are super delicious and a pretty good size, as well as considered one of the healthiest nuts to eat. I mix them with a handful of walnuts and almonds for some extra nutrition for when i have a crave to eat something, might as well make it read more... healthy! These hazelnuts are very easy to use for making hazelnut spread or butter and energy balls also. This is probably my new favorite thing to snack on ! Highly recommend

Even when not on sale as they are now, these hazelnuts are a very good value. I use them with my oatmeal, yogurt or stand-alone as a snack. It's a quite healthy nut, with a lot of nutrients and antioxidants. Like most nuts, they're high in healthy fats. I read more... prefer the flavor and texture of hazelnuts to most nuts and these don't disappoint in quality. The fiber content in the nuts can help a lot with weight loss, giving you a fuller feeling than most other snacks you might otherwise eat. If adding to salad, their round shape make them a bit difficult to balance on a fork, so chop 'em up.

I spent a lot of time looking for good hazelnuts. These are amazing and I am finally able to prepare Nutella at home. The best quality ever and they taste great. I toasted them for flavor and then I processed the hazelnuts with cocoa and sugar. My family devoured my read more... homemade Nutella in a couple of days and they are always asking for more. I loved this product! This was my very first order with NutStop. I had bought hazelnuts and trader joes (which is super far from me) while traveling and ended up making some homemade nutella. I could not find hazelnuts in my local grocery store and ended up read more... at Nutstop's website. The products came fast, the packaging was great, and the nuts were in great shape. These are excellent. Very fresh, smooth and delicious. They're perfect straight from the bag, but are awesome additions to chocolate fudge. This was also part of my first purchase from NutStop along with the Dried Chili Mango. Most places these are way too expensive and the squirrels get from my bush before they ripen. I roast them in the microwave with a little butter and snack on them. Delicious!!

These are delicious, and quite a good price, compared to most placed. Think of an almond that died and went to heaven-- that's a hazelnut, also sometimes called filberts. You find them in some of your favorite candies. Delicious to snack on.
