Instructions
- Prepare all the required ingredients and get a large bowl.
- Slightly toast pine nuts on a dry pan on low heat.
- Chop avocado and cut cherry tomatoes in halves. In the bowl mix crab meat, avocado, tomatoes, and pine nuts. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and some sesame oil. Mix well.
- Meanwhile, warm the bread on a pan until there’s a light crust on both sides. It’s best to use the pan the pine nuts were toasted on so the bread soaks in all the aroma.
- Place the toast on a plate and top it with the crabmeat mix using a spoon. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
I am a huge fan of seafood, but I always try to eat only the cleanest kind of fish and shellfish. Crabmeat is one of my favorites. First of all, crabmeat is quite versatile. You can add it to almost anything including omelets, salads, soups, sandwiches, etc. Also, it’s full of protein and very lean. Don’t forget about sesame seeds and pine nuts that boost this recipe with healthy fats for the right nutritional balance!
