Super easy and quick, these nuts are a holiday favorite. They bring a special warmth and aroma to our homes and smiles to our kid’s faces.

  1. Make sure you use whole pecans.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pecans, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Mix everything well.
  3. Place pecan mixture in a warmed pan. Bring to simmer at low to medium heat and keep simmering until maple syrup starts getting thicker. Make sure to check on the nuts often and stir them to make sure they do not burn.
  4. Once the syrup looks thick, transfer the pecans to a tray covered with parchment paper and let the nuts cool down. Try to distribute the pecans evenly on the covered tray.
  5. When the nuts are dry and ready to eat, check to see if any of the nuts are stuck together. If so, break them apart carefully.
